UK-based digital behavioral health company Ieso Digital Health raises $24 Mn in another round of funding led by led by European VC firms Draper Esprit and Touchstone Innovations; The firm offers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in real-time through written conversations online, using a secure virtual therapy room; Text-based data are collected and further processed using machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to improve therapy outcomes; New funds will be used to expand and scale its technology in US and UK.

NHS England will set up two to five regional Digital Innovation Hubs, each covering regions of 3–5 million people following a proposed Life Sciences Industrial Strategy by Sir John Bell, University of Oxford last month; Also, it has outlined plans to expand and extend NHS Test Beds from current 4,000 patients to 15,000 patients enrollment by this time next year; And it will be backing investments in AI technology during the course of the next 12 months.
