I believe its crucial to support the competitors of Bitmain.

My hope is that Canaan will discover the enormous business-opportunity it would be for them to side with the users and support BIP148.

From a PR and marketing perspective this would make them extremely popular amongst bitcoiners.

I know that this is a long shoot.. But my suggestion is that all BIP148 supporters should also become Canaan supporters in the hopes that Canaan will support BIP148 in return.
