
What’s It Mean To Be ‘Conservative, Not Bitter?’
I’m conservative, not bitter.
I’ve learned this resonates with a lot of good, conservative people. Heck, it even resonates with some liberals. And maybe it even resonates with you.
But occasionally I get asked questions about this statement. Do I think conservatives are bitter? And if they are bitter, is that even a bad thing? Besides, don’t conservatives have a ‘right’ to be bitter? And what does it mean to be ‘bitter’ anyway?
These are some of the questions I’ve heard. And so I want to take a moment to explain a little about what it means when I say, “conservative, not bitter.”
Right off the bat, it’s important to note that I’m a talk radio show host.
My job is to articulate ideas & concepts every single day on the radio. And on my website. And, yes, even on social media.
But because I’m a ‘conservative talk show host,’ many people automatically tune out the message because of a preconceived notion they have about talk radio.
What’s that preconceived notion? Well, they think talk radio is angry. Hateful. Divisive. Even racist. Or bigoted. Or sexist. Or [fill in the blank]. You get what I mean.
