If you absolutely need to see what you are writing, you can click on the “Peek” button that looks like an eye. If you haven’t reached your word count goal, you will not be able to edit, only to peek. You can edit only after you’ve reached your goal. Although you can peek, we recommend you just keep typing and don’t allow yourself to be distracted by anything. For a more complete distraction-free experience, try Ninja Mode, by clicking on the switch found in the lower-left corner of the screen. With Ninja Mode, you won’t see anything on the screen as you type. It’s genius!
