Your Social Media presence is a boring musical

Last night I watched “My Fair Lady” for the first time. It reminded me why I usually don’t like musicals: everything is synchronized and over-rehearsed. I like movies that make me believe and can bring me into their world. Even if it is something crazy. The world is crazy, but not often synchronized.

It reminds me that, on Social Media, some brands have their steps so obsessively calculated that they start to sound like boring musicals. Then, when they face some spontaneous problem/situation, they can easily push the panic button. They give awful excuses, make bad decisions and delete posts. They’ve no personality and voice. They start to sound like robots with bugs.
