Great article! This issue is something I run into quite a bit.

For the most part, I work with great clients, but sometimes it can be difficult explaining to certain others why artists need to get paid a fair wage for their work, especially when so many things are just ‘lifted’ from the web and used without permission.

But I love the approach you took to this article. It might help people understand that, while artists love what they do, it is also work that requires skill, oodles of time and ongoing learning. Any artist I’ve ever met has been continually striving to learn and improve. Thanks for shining a light on this issue.
