Guardian reports that “the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has banned cash payments for passport processing as part of efforts to eliminate corruption at all passport offices nationwide.‎”

The Zungeru 700megawatts hydroelectric power plant has attained 47% completion, reports Business Day. “Xiao Nie, deputy project manager, CNEEC-Sinohydro Consortium, the Chinese firm handling Zungeru 700mw hydroelectric power plant, last week said the project had attained 47 percent completion. Nie told newsmen in Abuja that the $1.29 billion project was expected to be completed in 2020”.
