1. Acting President Osinbajo is Chair of the African Union Peace and Security Council for the month of July 2017.

2. Acting President Osinbajo met privately with President Buhari in London on July 11. On July 23, the President hosted some State Governors and leaders of the ruling party to lunch in Abuja House, his official London residence.

3. The Federal Government has just launched a Presidential Economic Diversification Initiative (PEDI), aimed at supporting State Governments to achieve industrial growth and diversification. The initiative kicked off with an Investment Forum in Ondo State on July 18. Details in a future edition.

4. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday 28th June, 2017 approved Nigeria’s National Gas Policy. Details here

5. The Director General of the Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Mr. Tunde Irukera, held a Facebook Live Q & A Session on Thursday July 13, 2017. Details here

  1. Executive Order On the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) (June 2017)
  2. Executive Order on Budgets (May 2017)
  3. Executive Order On Support for Local Content in Public Procurement by the Federal Government (May 2017)
  4. Executive Order On the Promotion of Transparency and Efficiency in the Business Environment (May 2017)
