Meet a Milestone Maker featuring Adam Bolden

Every day leading up to Milestone Makers graduation we’ll feature a Fall 2017 cohort candidate who embody our vision of bold entrepreneurs looking to accelerate their leadership and business growth.

Our first founder, Adam Bolden, is the co-Founder of Sweat Tailor who joins us to share a little about his company and journey below.

Milestone: Position company for new product lines

Why did you choose to be an entrepreneur?

I didn’t choose to be an entrepreneur, but I’m always looking for opportunities that don’t exist in the marketplace. And when I think I have something, I like to bring it to market. [Adam, we’d say that makes you a great entrepreneur to your core!]

Tell us about your company?

Sweat Tailor was established with one simple goal: to create the ultimate pair of everyday pants that are stylish, comfortable and built to be worn from day’s start to end, no matter what life throws at you.

What is your vision for the company?

I want our company to be a household name, with flagship stores in key cities across the country and an incredibly large online community for this country and around the world.

Where do you find your personal inspiration?

I find inspiration anywhere in the public setting, whether it’s outside of schools, movie theaters, concerts, airports. I like to see how people are moving and going about their days.

The Milestone Makers program is designed to help early-to-mid-stage founders set, hit, and celebrate milestones critical to company growth over 12 weeks. Each of our 11 Milestone Makers selected into the Fall 2017 cohort receive the support of a personal business coach, a team of mentors, peer cohort work sessions, as well as curated classes to help them reach their goals.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
