“Not getting a deal was actually OK. Because if you saw the show, [the Shark Tank investors] actually liked the product. We got a sign of approval — it works! So it was actually cool. It just made me want to grind even harder and also maybe one day when I meet them again, prove to them that ‘this was a great idea that maybe you should have invested at the time, but since you didn’t — look at what we did now.’ Not getting a deal is not a bad thing…To tell you the truth, probably not getting a deal was the better thing at the time… I wasn’t as ready as I am now.”
