Why We Should Vote for Hillary
In the interest of full disclosure, I want to say that I'm absolutely sure Trump will win the election. The enthusiasm gap between Clinton and Trump is just too obvious. The polls, like Brexit, are as much of a joke as the one-sided mainstream media coverage.
The only question is, if he will win by enough of a landslide to prevent the establishment from rigging the results.
Bernie and Trump both probably won their respective primaries. Only Trump did it by enough of a landslide, that they couldn’t block him. They will do everything to avoid that mistake again.
That’s not the point of this article though.
The point is, that for the zillionth time, a ‘Hillary Clinton supporter’ explained clearly and cogently why I should vote for her.
Except, that’s not what happened. For the zillionth time, a ‘Hillary Clinton supporter’ railed to me against Trump, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, David Duke, THE DEMONIC CREATURE THAT EMERGED FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL.
Straight faced and serious. And not one mention of Hillary Clinton. Nothing. Nothing about her positive qualities, why people might want to back her, not even a mention of the first woman president, yada, yada, yada.
Which is fine, of course. Politics is rough and tumble. I get it.
But it gives me hope that Trump will win by enough of a landslide that they won’t be able to fudge the results. Clinton’s supporters can’t think of a single good thing to say about their candidate. All they can do is attack the candidate she is running against.
As I mentioned in another article, people love Trump — nobody loves Hillary.
Who is going to roll out of bed to go vote for her? Beyond the SJWs, the only motivation of her supporters is hate, and a very theoretical hate at that. Love is a much stronger motivator than hate, and nobody loves Hill. People love Trump. He holds rallies in stadiums and air hangers. They’re packed.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that people love the idea of a woman as president. I agree. Many people also loved Bill Clinton when he was in office. He is an amazing persuader, salesman, whatever you want to call it. Tony Robbins will tell you that. Trump will tell you that.
But all that enthusiasm just doesn’t automatically transfer to Hillary Clinton.
‘Hillary supporters’ swear they believe all the agitprop against Trump. But to be honest, I think most card carrying Democrats secretly have some misgivings about siding with Bush, Romney and Soros on … on anything. And all of them at the same time? Alarm bells must be ringing.
Rightly or wrongly, people were very motivated to vote for Obama in 2008. I remember people waving signs for Obama at an intersection in Carrboro, North Carolina, in hard driving rain. And it wasn’t surprising to see. It made sense based on the general vibe. People were motivated to get out a vote for Obama and you could feel it.
The Democratic Party foot soldiers will trudge out there and do their duty. They will pull the lever for the Democratic candidate. But ain’t nobody going to be standing in the rain this year for Hill.
