Jon — this is a great topic to discuss for sure. Since the national debt is tied to a very complex machine — I can’t think of an easy solution or a solution where the creator doesn’t have extensive knowledge into how the Federal Budget and Government work. The first thing right off the bat I’d say — even without Cryptocurrency — BALANCE THE DAMN BUDGET. Ok, sorry — yeah got a little unhinged there. This was done once before and while the Debt is at $21 TRILLION — I’d like to still believe that’s a great place to start. The Convention of the States might make this happen and I’d encourage everyone in the US to join and sign! In addition, I do believe if we can gradually shift to Bitcoin as a national currency, community by community, state by state. We can look to Liberland and the Marshall Islands to witness how it goes for them. If it can work on a small scale — the let’s see if it can work on a larger scale. If Bitcoin achieves the Mind Blowing price prediction many have called — if the US began to invest in Bitcoin and use it as a Store of Value (SoV) — that might reduce the debt alone. I know — pie in the sky and totally unrealistic but when the Millennial Generation begin to take office — it just might happen; they already get it. Time will tell :)
