Each day non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are gaining more attention.
In late 2017, CryptoKitties started the hype and people started to pay attention to the potential of NFTs.
With a new bull market beginning in 2020, following the onset of the global pandemic, we have witnessed projects with new and original approaches on NFT usage. Unfortunately, they all have one thing in common: the dependency on market conditions or the dependency purely on luck.
It doesn’t matter if you own a Hashmask or rescue a Mooncat — the market dictates the value and there’s nothing you can do about it. Other approaches such as lotteries are based solely on luck and therefore, they are nothing more than a nice-looking gamble.
After weeks of conception, implementation and rigorous testing as well as an insane amount of dev and artist work, we’re proud to announce a project that will change the way NFTs are used.
With Riddle it’s entirely up to you how much value your $KEY will have in the end.
TL;DR
Riddle is a game based on NFTs where you have direct influence on your profit potential by solving riddles before your opponents do. To participate, you can buy one $KEY per wallet in the Riddle shop at http://www.riddle.cash and along with your NFT you’ll also receive $BRAIN tokens. These are needed to submit a riddle solution or to buy additional hints. $BRAIN tokens can also be bought on the website.
Riddle is played in four rounds, whereby the 25 winners of round 3 as well as the overall tournament winner of the final round will be rewarded in ETH, BNB or AETH. The total prize pool is determined by the amount of $KEYs sold. This will be displayed on the website as well as announced at the start of the tournament.
The total number of participants is capped at 1000 and the total amount of players left are:
500 after round 1,
125 after round 2,
25 after round 3, going into the final round to determine the champion.

Welcome to the tournament!
Riddle will be played in a tournament mode of 4 levels and the total number of participants is capped at 1000 on three chains (ETH / BSC / Arbitrum).
To create a fair competition, Riddle follows some basic logics, which are described as follows:
- Each level consists of a set of riddles with different solutions, so you can’t just pass the “one” solution to level 1 for example.
- Each level contains riddles of the same difficulty, so there’s no lucky draw.
- Each $KEY NFT is pegged to a riddle
- The level determines how many $KEYs are pegged to one specific riddle
- We provide the minimum amount of $BRAIN tokens to solve a level throughout the whole tournament (for details see „Use your $BRAIN”).
- We set a gas cap on the riddle submission, so no one is able to outgas a faster opponent, it will be announced right before the start.
- Level 1 and 2 don’t have a time limit, but all levels will be opened successively after a specific amount of time in general.
- You’ll still be able to reach level 3 at any time, but the tournament also moves forward, so you need to be fast!
- In level 3, there will be a very generous time limit to prevent long waiting times in the unlikely case that the 25 spots don’t fill up.
- Once all 25 spots are determined or the time limit is up, level 1 to 3 will be closed.
- If there’re less than 25 people, the reward structure will be recalculated based on the number of winners and the reward will be increased equally between them.
- Level 4 neither has a time limit nor the hint functionality and the first one who’s able to solve it wins the tournament.
The tournament plan
As mentioned the tournament is split into 4 levels:
- Level 1 “ONE ON ONE” (500 riddles, each one for 2 participants)
- Level 2 “FIGHTING FOUR” (125 riddles, each one for 4 participants)
- Level 3 “CLASH OF FIVE” (25 riddles, each one for 5 participants)
- Level 4 “THE GRAND FINALE” (1 riddle for 25 or less participants)
The prerequisite to win a level is as easy as it gets:

What’s my reward?
In general, the prize is determined by the amount of sold $KEYs in the shop and will increase as sales move forward.
The prize pool will be filled with an initial 3 ETH / 10 BNB / 1.5 AETH and increased by 70% of the income from the sale event.
The current prize pool will be displayed on the website (inside the shop).
Once the sale ends and the tournament starts the prize pool will be split into:
50% Tournament Winner
50% Top 25 (winners of level 3)
while the Top 25 will be determined based on their solution submission time, hereby the following rank to percentage table will take place:
But let’s talk numbers, so you get an idea about the sheer amount of money you can potentially win in Riddle!
So let’s say you’re early and buy your $KEY for 0.075 ETH that’s a life-changing x603 if you win the tournament, and even if you finish #25 it’s still over x18 ! So, each pool on a 100% $KEY sale event will be ~340,000 USD !
Your $KEY to the tournament
In order to participate you just need to buy a $KEY NFT in our shop on the website. Just connect your BSC / ETH / Arbitrum Wallet via MetaMask and click the door on the left side.
Since fairness has the highest priority, you can only buy one $KEY per wallet and the sale is structured into 5 stages to incentivize buyers in an „earlier equals cheaper“ approach. You’ll also need to solve a riddle in order to proceed to the next level, so there’s no point in hoarding $KEYs.
That being said, we won’t prevent people from buying with different wallets as it’s surely an edge if you’re smart enough to solve riddles on different screens in parallel — but bear in mind, that you could also lose precious time.
The amount of $KEYs per sale stage and the current prize will be displayed on the progress bar inside the shop on riddle.cash
As mentioned in the next section — if you buy a $KEY you’ll also receive the exact amount of $BRAIN needed to submit one solution on level 1.
Use your $BRAIN
As in the real world, you’ll need some $BRAIN to solve riddles.
Therefore, you will need $BRAIN tokens to submit a riddle solution or to unlock hints.
$BRAIN can be bought on the riddle page with a click on the „Need $BRAIN?“ button or inside the shop (I’m sure you’ll find out where!)
But no worries, as mentioned in the previous section — fairness has the highest priority in riddle and therefore you’ll receive just as much $BRAIN tokens as needed to submit one solution to a level 1 riddle, if you buy a $KEY.
In addition, each successfully solved riddle will not only be rewarded with the $KEY to the next level, but also enough $BRAIN to submit one solution on the next level.
If you’re stuck on a riddle your $BRAIN allows you to unlock two hints on the riddle page. The hint content is of increasing value, so the first one is a vague hint while the second one is a lot more detailed and will push you immediately into the direction of the proper solution.
In general, you need to buy the first hint to be able to unlock the second one.
The price is fixed at a rate of 0.00025 ETH, 0.0005 AETH and 0.004 BNB per token and you can immediately buy them once the $KEY sale starts. So if you plan to try different solutions or to buy hints you can fill your brain capacity in advance. Please note, that we reduced the BRAIN price on ETH by 50% to compensate the fees.

We all know: One man’s favorite riddle can be another man’s nightmare!
Therefore we created hints! Two per level and available in level 1 to 3.
You can find the button on your riddle page to unlock a hint by submitting a transaction and pay $BRAIN tokens.

If you’re stuck, consider buying one as most of them surely lead to your own special facepalm moment, especially in level 1 or 2.

Now that you’re a proud owner of a $KEY (or two) and got some $BRAIN to master this challenge just wait for the tournament to begin and walk through the fog gate on the main page.
We’ll announce everything in advance to make sure no one misses the launch!
Make sure the proper wallet with your $KEY is connected and click on the door to enter your personal riddle page. You’ll see your riddle picture along with a headline and you just need to write the solution in the textbox below and click the “Submit” button.
Important rules:
No solution contains a blank or any special characters and they’re not case-sensitive!

Make sure your wallet contains ETH, AETH or BNB to submit transactions
In case you need additional $BRAIN to buy hints or submit another solution just click on the “Need $BRAIN?” button and you’ll be able to buy some in exchange for ETH, AETH or BNB without going back to the shop.
If you’re stuck on a riddle you can buy additional hints in exchange for $BRAIN, just click on “Unlock hint 1” or “Unlock hint 2” — as mentioned before, the second hint becomes available after the first one has been bought.
Once your riddle has been solved successfully, you’ll see another room which we won’t tease yet. There, you’ll be rewarded with the $KEY of the next level as well as $BRAIN to submit one solution on that level.
