What is a Landrace?

Humanity is a landrace; so is the Gampr.

My husband has been wanting to adopt another large breed pup, ever since Hank passed away from bone cancer. My health has been so poor, that I’ve weakened drastically, so I didn’t want to get a dog that I couldn’t handle, concerned that it wouldn’t feel the need to respect me. I know that I have got to pull my rank.

I love all breeds, big and small, especially pugs, but I have recently absolutely fallen head-over-heals in love with the Gampr (aka the Armenian Wolfhound); particularly, since it’s origin story is so spectacularly legendary!

The eyes and demeanor also remind us of Hank, who was incredibly intelligent! He would look from face to face whenever humans had conversations, and he was a stickler for safety when other dogs got out of hand, similar to a referee or a lifeguard.
