I dont see how the design of an aircraft like the F-22 renders the inherent supperiority of adaptability of a swing-wing design obsolete

The transition of having good slow-flight handling characteristics to having less drag is awesome and would alow planes to cruise more eficiently than they do nowdays (less drag) and having a thighter turn radius while dogfighting…

I know that my reasoning is wrong, I just dont realize why… pls point it out :P

Could it be, that with the caluclating power that is avaiable on a fighterjet nowdays bad slow-flight handling characteristics can be overcome (by auto-correcting)?
