Anna McClellan-Fire Flame

With Nothing Major out early in the year I thought I would review an album that came out earlier in 2015 that needs more attention. Anna McClellan is one of the best singers and lyricists Nebraska has to offer. Her songwriting is brilliant and her voice is unlike any other I have heard. Her debut album “Fire Flames” is not a disappointment at all and is easily one of the best singer/songwriter albums of the year. The Title Track is by far one of the most amazing moments on the album as Conner Oberst brings in some amazing vocals alongside her to bring together a perfect harmony. All in All this album is unbelievable especially for something that i’ve only listened to once all the way through.
