This article is so interesting to me. I’ve found myself on the other side, as a dreamer. I discovered proof that the Pythagorean Theorem must also be false as a consequence of duality. It’s short and overwhelmingly convincing but I can’t find anyone (with a voice that is) who’s even willing to look.

There are plenty of treasures to be found, just not in the places that people want to look or the kind that they want to find. What’s a person supposed to do when they find one but there’s nobody else to share it with or spend it on? Just keep looking for more until one’s reputation precedes them. It’s a chicken and egg problem in a world where it doesn’t matter what you know, just who.
