The Science of Persuasion

If you are a visionary and you are setting your plan into motion, the biggest obstacle in your way is your peers. On your road to realizing your success, you will be met with several people that don’t see things the way that you do. Sometimes this is good, sometimes this is bad. Regardless, it is of the utmost importance for a leader to know how to get people to say “yes”.

Critically acclaimed author, Dr. Robert B. Cialdini came out with his bestselling book, Influence - The Psychology of Persuasion, in December of 2006. Since then, it has been ranked as one of the top 10 business books bought and gifted in America. And that comes as no surprise to me. Influence is powerful. Influence is power. Knowing how to be able to influence people gives you a huge edge in life and in business. Its applications are universal, and as such I believe it worthy of sharing a summary of the book in the video above.
