Learn How to Monetize — The Art of Profitability

This is the single greatest book that has contributed to my knowledge of entrepreneurship, and that isn’t some sales pitch bullshit. I genuinely have gotten so much value out of this book that if anyone who is seriously considering becoming an entrepreneur asks me what I recommend, I will always reference this book.

The Art of Profitability by Adrian Slywotzky is a book that tells a fictional story about a man named Steve who works for a multinational conglomerate and goes to David Zhao for mentoring on profitability. The book covers 23 different ways that companies make profit. Some of them are obvious, some of them aren’t, all of them are brilliant. The book is a really interesting read that develops a deep understanding of how huge companies operate, and makes for an eye-opening experience to how truly easy it is to make money in this world. To give you a little taste, I have embedded a short video that covers 5 of the 23 models of profit covered in the book and give real-life examples to help you contextualize how they all work in today’s date.
