Reasons to Read my NASCAR Blog

When starting something and asking other people to come along it seems to me that giving them good reasons why should be the starting point. I’m not a professional writer, trained journalist, spin doctor or ever written books. But I do like to talk and tell stories of my “adventures” as I call them. You see by the grace of God I live what I tell people is a “Life Extraordinary, a Life less Ordinary”. In some ways I am the closest thing to a real life Forrest Gump you may every meet. In my short 54 years I have seen myself on the biggest Rock and Roll Stages, Competition Championship Potiums, TVs looking right back at me and Interviewing NASCAR Hall of Famers and more.

That’s all fine but why read what I have to say you still ask? It’s my outlook on life and what’s around me. Don’t get me wrong I have the same Ups and Downs like everyone else but, I focus and live on the Mountain Tops and not Down in the Valleys. I live from mountain top to mountain top. When I’m on up, I look for that next mountain top. When I’m down like the Psalmist says “I look to the Hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. The maker of Heaven and Earth.” And I climb hard to get back up on the next mountain. So you will never read what I write and go away bummed out, sad or depressed and in fact I believe they will leave you somehow enlightened and feeling positive.

So I will also focus and do my best to stay on topic but if I see a squirrel I could be writing about anything. And what am I going to focus on? NASCAR, Racing and the People. It’s that simple and with the access I get from friends and connections throughout Sports and Marketing I will take you behind the scenes and bring you straight up facts and also tips fans want to know about. When I can I will share Driver, Owner and Celebrity Interviews and Photos and Videos as well.

So that’s what my blog is going to be about and you can already tell I’m a simple man and a simple writer. I do hope to get better at writing but, if the Forrest Gump in me kicks in I’ll have a Pulitzer Prize in Literature in no time flat. I’ll try and toss in a dash of humor but the most important part is I am putting my heart in this. I’m a passionate person and man and it, and my competitive nature have always driven me.

I leave you with this last quote from the famous writer Robert Frost.

“No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader.”
