Inspector Columber Investigates 9/11

“Detective! Hello, Detective!”

“Hello, sir.”

“How are you getting on with your investigation into the events of 9/11?”

“Well sir, I have found that a third tower collapsed on 9/11. Did you know that?”

“No, what? But I saw it happen- there were two planes and two towers- the twin towers- everyone knows that.”

“Yes, that’s true, but a third skyscraper also fell that day- World Trade Centre 7 (WTC7).”

“Why haven’t I heard about this?”

“I don’t know. It was highly unusual. It hadn’t been hit by a plane, and before or since that day no steel framed, high rise building has ever collapsed due to fire. As you now know, three collapsed that day.”

“But this was all investigated, right? There was a 9/11 report or something?

“There was the report of the 9/11 Commission, the authors of which described it as ‘underfunded’ and ‘set up to fail.’ They complained of being ‘frustrated by mis-statements,’ and a counsel to the Commission said, ‘there was a decision not to tell the truth about what happened,’ made by the government.”

“Blimey. What did they say about this third tower?”

“Well the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) investigated and they said WTC7 fell due to normal office fires, but then a high school physics teacher pointed out that it fell at freefall speed for the first 100 feet and 2.5 seconds.”

“Wait. ‘Free fall speed’- what does that suggest?”

“It suggests that the collapse of the top part of the building was not slowed down by hitting the floors beneath it. It was hitting nothing. This could only be possible if the supports of those floors had already been removed.”

“OK, so how could that happen?”

“The most plausible explanation for a sudden and symmetrical collapse like this is a controlled demolition, something that requires pre-planted explosives.”

“But surely the investigators looked for that?”

“Well, no they didn’t. They decided that this would require explosions that would register a sound of 130–140 decibels. This was an arbitrary figure as quieter cutter charges and explosives have been in existence for a long time, and the figure didn’t account for any other factors such as obstructions to the travelling sound. Anyway, they decided explosions hadn’t happened, despite such explosions being recorded on TV and reported by witnesses.”

“So in short, the official investigation was satisfied that WTC7 was not demolished by explosives?”

“It was, but independent scientists found evidence of explosives in all tested samples of World Trade Centre dust. They found thermite and nano-thermite. Nano-thermite can only be made with high level military technology. Further evidence for thermite is found in the molten steel reported by firefighters, as running ‘like lava,’ or as though ‘in a foundry.’ Rescue workers experienced incredibly high temperatures at Ground Zero for weeks afterwards, as fires continued to burn beneath the rubble, despite apparently being deprived of oxygen. This is a feature of thermite, which provides its own oxygen. ”

“But the investigators won’t be lying, will they?”

“When the freefall of WTC7 was pointed out, NIST initially rejected it. When they could reject it no longer, they accepted it, but changed none of their conclusions. They found that WTC7 fell suddenly and symmetrically at freefall speeds due to fire. They refused to release their computer models to show how this could have happened.”

“That’s strange.”

“A group of 2,354 Architects and Engineers thought so. They are campaigning for a re-investigation into 9/11. They argue that the fall of WTC7 constitutes the biggest known structural failure in history and that, if architects and engineers do not know what caused it, how can they be expected to build safer buildings in the future? They are trying to publicise the little known case of Building 7 amongst the public and the architect community.

They also point out that the twin towers dissolved into dust before falling and before impacting upon anything, and that debris was ejected laterally from those towers. Gravity works vertically. As with Building 7, the twin towers collapsed symmetrically.”

“Yes but the twin towers fell because of airline fuel melting the steel girders, didn’t they?”

“Expert scientists explain that the airline fuel was mostly burned up in the initial fireball, after which the twin towers were fuelled like normal office fires. One expert says, ‘fires at this temperature could be applied to steel forever and not cause it to bend.’ ”

“What are you saying? If there were explosions going off, we would know about it, there’d be witnesses. People would be talking.”

“There were witnesses. Barry Jennings was an emergency co-ordinator- a very reliable witness. On 9/11, before it collapsed, he was trapped in WTC7 because explosions had blown out the stairs. When he was helped from the building he reported that the lobby had been blown up and he described walking over bodies. He spoke to TV cameras on the day.”

“So why is his testimony not being investigated?”

“He died, curiously, a couple of days before the official report was published.”

“Curiously? People die. If this is true, there would be others.”

“Kenneth Johanneman reported explosions in the basement of one of the twin towers. He spoke to TV crews on 9/11, again when the towers were still standing. He reported explosions and that he had carried an injured man out of the building. Later, he was shot in the head in an apparent suicide. A number of witnesses have died prematurely.”

“Yes but if there was anything to this, the media would be on to it.”

“The same media who reported the collapse of WTC7 before it happened?”

“What?”

“The BBC reported the fall of WTC7 twenty-five minutes before it happened, and with WTC7 still standing in the background behind its reporter. CNN reported the fall of WTC7 at 4:15pm. It fell at 5:20pm. Fox reported it falling seconds before it fell. MSNBC’s Ashleigh Banfield was filmed waiting for Building 7 to collapse.”

“Well, maybe it was clear it was going to fall?”

“No steel structured building had ever fallen before that day. WTC7 was not hit by a plane. It was made with 40,000 tons of structural steel. There were isolated office fires. There was no jet fuel in building 7, so even by that theory, there is no possibility that the fires were hot enough to melt the steel. Fireman Lieutenant David Restuccio was on TV earlier in the day saying that “first reports are that it (WTC7) will come down or it will be taken down.” How could it be taken down? A demolition takes weeks of planning. Why would it be expected to come down? No steel framed skyscraper had ever collapsed due to fire. When the building fell, it was preceded by a countdown, audible on police radios, and filmed by TV crews.”
