How will I ever get there…?!

​It’s an amazing moment when you finally figure out your dream or start taking action towards one of your big goals.

Breathtaking, exciting, and life-affirming, all in one.

You’ve figured it out… you start making plans… and then you realize… ​

Holy crap… this dream is huge!

How the hell am I going to do this?

Whatever was I thinking?!

Your exciting, exhilarating vision now seems scary, far-away, and virtually impossible.

How the hell are you going to get there?!

It’s easy to get discouraged at this point.

I hear you.

I’ve been there.

Eeesh.

I know that feeling very well!

But here’s the great news…

You don’t have to know how to do it.

No — I’m serious!

Not right now.

You don’t have to know exactly how to get to your big, amazing dream, right now.

You don’t have to have it all figured out, or planned out in detail.

See, the thing is: you’re gonna learn as you go along.

The actions you take at the start will create actions and results further down the line that you don’t know about yet — and can’t predict!

You don’t know how to get to your big dream just yet… because you haven’t learnt it yet.

But don’t worry — you will ;)

And you can.

It’s like starting out on a degree or diploma and thinking:

“Yikes, I don’t have all the knowledge that will get me my final degree!”

No, you don’t have all the knowledge now.

And that’s okay!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a step-by-step, week-by-week plan for how to achieve your dream.

(In fact, I would be surprised if you did have one.)

What you do need is a vision you’re heading for, and a plan for the first few steps you will take.

And once you’ve completed them… plan a few more steps to work on.

And so on :)

Keep your vision in mind.

And focus on the two or three actions in front of you, right now.

End of.

No panic required :)

You don’t need to have everything figured out now.

But you do need to get started if you’re ever going to get there! ;)
