Why I like anime (あたしはアニメが好き)

People often ask me why I like anime? Why do I waste my time with it…

The sad truth is right in front of them. People who never saw anime don’t understand that every single anime is based on honor and respect. Those two things are everything in the anime world, its ether towards, family or friends and the main character is the key for preaching what respect means.

Nowadays not so many people respect you, for god sake they don’t even know what respect means. They will step on you, throw you on side or even talk trash behind your back. Those people don’t see the simple things that you have done for them, those people are guided by their own believes and thoughts and they might never care about you until they lose you. And if they care and lose you they will understand what a good person you have been. It will take them time to see what you have done for them and what they actually have done for you, but then it might be too late.

That is why I love anime, because in anime the main character always tries to respect others, he will pass through hard times showing others what respect means, he will get beaten up, laughed and never considered seriously. But no matter what happens, he will stood proud by their sides and he will always and forever try to respect them. In a way i see myself as that anime character.

That is why I like anime.
