Twitter Cut Out Of Trump Tech Meeting Over a $5 Million Failed emoji version of the hashtag #Crooked

The president-elect Donald Trump met with the tech executives on Wednesday. However, not all tech giants were represented, Twitter for example got it rough after Mr. Trump unleashed revenge on the tech giant after it refused to allow emoji version of the hashtag #CrookedHillary during the campaign. This reports were unveiled by a source that’s close to Trumps transition.

The U.S. tech company was not represented at the Wednesday meeting at Trump Tower, the company was among the few major U.S. tech companies that were not present. In attendance was Apple’s Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos from Amazon, Facebook’s Sherly Sandberg and Tesla’s Elon Musk. However, Twitter’s omission from the meeting was striking since Trump has been using the Twitter platform, the president-elect has a following of 17.3 million followers and as a result Twitter has become Trump’s de facto press channel for his transition process.

Despite the few beefs that Trump has had with tech giants, the Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s role in what some in the Trump transition team refer to as breaching of a deal went too far. Trump has in the past criticized Tim Cook after Apple refused decrypt a cellphone that was used in a terrorist incident, Trump also criticized Bezos for his ownership of the Washington Post.
