US May Lose World Cup Bid in 2026 Due to Trump’s Travel Ban

The controversial case on President Trump’s travel ban barring people from the seven Muslim-dominated countries will not be dropped, this is because the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a request from the Justice Department to put it on hold until a new executive order is in place.

The Department of Justice asked the federal appeals court to put the case on hold after it has upheld the restraining order that was against the enforcement of the ban. However, the 9th Circuit declined to do so on Monday.
