ZeroX Represents The Guild at Neals x China’s Central Academy of Fine Arts
The Guild is proud to announce that as of November 2, 2021 our collaborative NFT titled ‘Year of the 0x’ will be exhibited at China’s most prestigious and renowned art academy, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).

A leading institution for modern art education in China, the Central Academy of Fine Arts is one of the industry’s toughest to get into. Each year, the school rejects an astounding 90% of school-leaving applicants each year.
‘Year of the 0x’ at CAFA
‘Year of the 0x’ joins a Museum of CAFA catalogue of some 13,000 artworks, which cover a wide variety of genres and styles, including works by ancient and modern Chinese masters as well as fine student works. Some of the categories at the Museum of CAFA Chinese painting, sculpture and folk art such as New Year pictures, embroidery and minority ethnic costume and objects, along with Chinese relics. Falling under the New Years pictures category, ‘The Year of the 0x’ will be making history at CAFA as the first NFT ever to be exhibited.
About The Guild’s ‘Year of the 0x’
The Guild began ‘Year of the 0x’ as a tribute to the lunar ox year of 2021 that coincides with the Ethereum bull run and astronomical explosion of NFTs as a medium. Much like The Guild, the ox represented in the Chinese Zodiac has a great patience and a desire to make progress and achieve their goals through consistent effort. They are not much influenced by others or the environment, but persist in doing things according to their ideas and capabilities. Check out our process here.
Capturing original artwork by 38 different artists, whose continued effort towards teamwork and the coming together of their varied styles, ‘Year of the 0x’ resulted in 12 different animals and an eclectic scene with the central focus being placed on the ZeroX (0x), the ox. And ‘Year of the 0x’ wouldn’t be complete without a few bonus NFT giveaways that are becoming synonymous with The Guild. This collaborative effort includes several MEGA bonuses that will go to the collector of the master NFT, plus a bonus that goes to every collector of an individual layer!
The first of those bonuses is the Golden 0x minted on Charged Particles and designed by Shinji Akhirah. This NFT is a 1/1, yield-bearing asset nested with another epic asset — Bored Ape Yacht Club #8559 (which doubles up as bonus #2).
Bonus # 3 is the ‘Golden 0x-Ape Coin’ designed by Shinji Akhirah and minted on Charged Particles! The bios of ALL 38 artists are fully nested in this unique 1/1 golden coin.
And bonus #4 is a 1/1, marquee-animated NFT created by Moxarra.
Last but certainly not the least , the bonus #5 was created by Rutger van der Tas, ‘Find your favorite combo of The Year of the 0x’.
