Another week down and we still are left with uncertainties everywhere you look. As it was said last week, this very well could be the closest season in The League history. Tensions are very high because of it, but this past week there was a lot of love and appreciation in the chat which began with DJ (’17) letting everyone know that he loves them followed by the famous “let the best man win” saying. Then after Jackson’s team fell just short of the league record 209 for highest scoring week, everyone could not help but applaud his effort, even his opponent which you can read about as we dive into their matchup.

The Game of the Week (unofficially) Presented by Natural Light saw Jackson light up the scoreboard. Everytime you looked at a television, it was very likely one of his players was scoring as they defeated Brady (‘19,‘20) 201–123. “Kudos to Jackson, very impressive doing what he did,” Toth said, “I was very unlucky to play him the week Justin Fields played Rutgers.” Fields led all of Burdyshaw’s scorers with 46 points as he answered the call that Jackson mentioned after last week. “Told ya we’d be seeing a change of pace at QB and that’s really what led us,” the former QB1 himself said, “Rodgers can find his ass another bench to sit on.” Going forward, Burdyshaw is hoping he can get more out of David Montgomery who put up a measly 4 points but he says, “when you’re putting up two hundred plus, can’t find many things wrong.” For the two-time champ, he will now be dealing with a Josh Allen elbow injury which could be a huge loss as the Chipmunks head into a big divisional battle with Team Blaha. But Brady, who is dealing with a strep throat, says, “we’re both gonna have to step it up and do what we gotta do to get the big win this week.”

Rogo and Michael both sat at 5–3 headed into this week, both in dire need of a win to break their two game skids. Rogo came out on top 131–85, thanks not only to Michael continuing his dreadful downfall, but Joe Mixon’s 5 touchdown, 54 point effort. Although Mixon was a bright spot, Rogo acknowledged the rest of the squad, minus Travis Kelce, could perform a little better. “I have faith my team will pick it up,” the self proclaimed “Mr. Consistent” said, “just a little disappointed in (D’Andre) Swift.” He then went on to send a very clear message to his squad by stating, “If you gon piss like a puppy, stay on the porch!” For Blaha, he is beginning to reach his boiling point who very frustrated stated, “I don’t fucking know,” when asked how to get this coaster back on the rails. He went on to say, “I’m close to unbuckling my belt and jumping from the top of the coaster.” Just hate to see this right now for what looked to be such a promising season, but the season is far from over.

Upset of the year? Some might be calling Josh’s (’18) 129–112 victory over big brother just that, Josh just calls it “a series sweep”. The younger Aultman was on a three game losing streak but after last week he remained very optimistic and hopeful for the rest of the season. After this week’s win, the hope and optimism might have doubled, if not tripled. “This team ain’t gonna quit, believe that,” Josh stated, “we’re coming for a playoff spot and I feel bad for whoever gets that draw.” Things might have been a little different in this one if DJ had his dominating duo of Saquon Barkley and Nick Chubb playing, but Kenyan Drake was plugged in and proceeded to score 24 points, and maybe no difference would have been made. “Yeah bye weeks were tough. Part of the game, ” the eldest of Eileen and Dan said before acknowledging that he has, “Lamar out this and Waddle out next week while waiting for (Ja’Marr) Chase to get back healthy.” Sounds like a little nerves might be kicking in but DJ says the team has to “buckle down and get back to .500 by any means,” as they face the Commish who is one game ahead of them in the East Division. Josh will be facing Miller, a week after what Aultman himself says took what “some would call an unnecessary shot at,” after calling Taylor, alongside Blaha, the fat lady who has yet to sing. But Josh says, “Sunday we get our chance to bury the Taylor Park Boys and we will take advantage of the opportunity.”

Konnor was able to get back into the win column with a 124–90 victory over Tyler. “A win is a win but I still feel like we are capable of more,” the Commish says, “we have one of the toughest stretches of games to end the season and being in the 120s just might not cut it.” Thompson has a road which features Brady and Jackson, the two favorites in the West, while also a matchup this week with the guy right on his tail in DJ, and the tail he himself is chasing in Rogo. While also having a matchup with the motivated, playoff hungry, Josh Aultman team. For the Sabath team, he saw a need before the 4 o’clock slate was over, and quickly made that change on Tuesday acquiring tight end Gerald Everett from Josh. “Vibes are much better,” Tyler said days after sending out a call for a tight end in the chat, “Everett is a huge addition to the Dawgs.” Tyler though knows the tight end play was not the only problem and took accountability himself saying, “I messed up playing the wrong guys,” something he says, “I need to do better on my end cause it’s crunch time right now.”

In the final game this week, Taylor defeated Joey (’16, ’21) 111–61, in which Joey was 9 points shy of tying the league low record of points of 52, which is held by Michael since 2017. “Got a lot of asshats on this team that are not living up to their ADP (average draft position),” Joey stated in regards to not only this week’s performance, but season as a whole. “I guess this is karma for what I did to everybody in the playoffs last year,” the current champ continued, but the season is not over yet and Joey says, “looking to make some big moves here soon.” By the time you have read this, you will most likely know what he is talking about. For the Taylor Park, they are “100% feeling great,” their leader Taylor Miller says. He acknowledged that “ETN (Travis Etienne Jr.) has been impressive, (and) Tua (Tagovailoa) has me excited as well.” The two combined for 49 points and it seems as if the motto going forward for the Taylor Park Boys is “RAWR RAWR”.

Committee Power Rankings (unofficially) Presented by Pink Whitney:

1. Jackson (6–3) /\2

2. Brady (5–4) \/1

3. DJ (4–5) \/1

4. Konnor (5–4) –

5. Rogo (6–3) /\2

6. Tyler (4–5) \/1

7. Taylor (4–5) /\2

8. Josh (3–6) /\2

9. Joey (3–6) \/3

10. Michael (5–4) \/3

Game of the Week (unofficially) Presented by Natural Light:

#3 DJ (4–5) vs #4 Konnor (5–4)

The top of the East Division is currently held by Mr Rogaski, but Konnor is closely behind only one game back, while DJ sits two games behind. The two of them want and need this one badly. With four weeks to go after this one, a lot can change. But a win here for Thompson would put him two games ahead of Aultman and give him the tiebreaker between them if that would come into play later on. We are getting into the nitty gritty, so buckle up and enjoy! Welcome to Week 10!
