Use it when you start to lose the track of time and control over your life.

This easy rule was created by Robin Sharma — and I think there is no need to explain who is this guy and what he has done.

The idea of this method is: during the 90 days you are devoting the first 90 minutes of your work day to the most important project and nothing else. Thesis, working on your portfolio — what is significant for you.

This rule can be used anywhere — even at your work. The morning hours for the majority of people are the most productive time of the day: you wake up, have breakfast, have a walk and then your brain is ready to rock. That’s why it’s more important to use your first hours of work by working on some project that is playing the key role to your business. Besides, this rule will help you not to get distracted by something unnecessary.

There is the short version of this rule — 45/45/1

Sharma suggests to reserve this time for each morning: in a calendar and in your mind. But if it is not possible, you can choose the time and a place during the day and work for example during your lunch break in a café — the effect will be the same.

Last, but not least, before starting to tackle your task, log out from your email account, turn off the phone and say no to multitasking for the next 90 minutes. 1,5 hours — it’s a short period of time — do no let the procrastination to take this time away from your dream. Nothing should distract you.
