Your Guide to The Locker Room
The Locker Room is your headquarters for customizing your Boxer inside of The Next Legends world. Customize your Boxer, choose their fighting persona, track their progress through the boxing ranks, and manage their inventory and boosts.
In The Locker Room’s first release, you’ll be able to download your Boxer in 3D, choose their name and write their story. Here’s how:
Download your Boxer in 3D
See your Boxer in 3D, download, and animate them.
1. From the homepage, click ‘download’ in the bottom right-hand corner and choose the formats in which you want to download your Boxer.
2. Once downloaded, you’ll be able to upload your Boxer to an appropriate external animation platform and begin animating them.
Write your Boxer’s name and bio
Every legend has a story. Write yours now. For the first release of The Locker Room, you’ll be able to upload a name and backstory for your Boxer. These changes will then appear on OpenSea.
Choose your Boxer’s name
1. From The Locker Room’s home screen, select ‘name’ on the side navigation bar.
2. Once selected, you’ll be able to fill in your Boxer’s first and last name in the pop-up text fields.
3. Click ‘save’ to confirm your Boxer’s name change. These changes are now saved and will show up on OpenSea shortly.
Write your Boxer’s bio
1. From The Locker Room’s home screen, select ‘bio’ on the side navigation bar.
2. Click ‘edit’ and begin writing in the pop-up text box.
3. Write your Boxer’s bio.
4. Once finished, press ‘save’.
5. These changes are now saved and will show up on OpenSea shortly.
FAQ
Can more than one person pick the same name? Every name is unique, you can’t have the same name as another Boxer.
Am I allowed numbers and special characters in my Boxer’s name? There are no restrictions on numbers or special characters.
Does my Boxer’s name change the metadata?
Yes, when you change your Boxer’s name it will be updated in the metadata and be reflected on OpenSea. You may need to wait for OpenSea to refresh so that your changes appear.
Will there be a gas fee for making changes?
No, there is no gas fee for making changes to your name and bio.
Why does my Boxer look different?
You’ll notice that your Boxers have been upgraded since the Pro Boxer mint. Alongside some bespoke aesthetic polishes, your Boxers are now game ready and downloadable in 3D.
How do I access The Locker Room?
The Locker Room is only available on desktop at this stage. We are on schedule to release a mobile version in the coming months alongside other exciting feature releases. Read more about those here.
Do I need a FuturePass to participate in The Locker Room?
Yes, you will need a FuturePass to participate. Do I need to bridge my Boxer to participate in The Locker Room?
No, you don’t need to bridge to The Root Network to log in to The Locker Room. Your Boxers will be available to view in The Locker Room on The Root Network and Ethereum.
