The Ohio Taproom Expansion
Construction will begin on our expansion any day now (we were scheduled to start May 27 but had a few delays), so we wanted to update our customers and neighbors on a few items.
This project will include adding two ADA restrooms to the west side of the building, which will be roughly 18' x 12' total. We’ll also be adding a patio area in the front of the building.
Construction should take about two months to complete depending upon weather and other construction inspection factors. We’ve applied for a D1 license for on-premise consumption for beer only. We don’t know when a license will become available; we hope at roughly the same time that our construction is completed.
Our business model at The Ohio Taproom will remain similar once we attain our new license — we’ll still have limited hours and be family- and dog-friendly. We’ll still support Ohio small businesses that craft great beer, soda, tea, chips, salsa, beef jerky, etc.
We don’t envision a large impact from construction on the surrounding neighborhood since the project is pretty small, but we do apologize in advance for dust, etc.

As we recently announced on our social media and in this blog post, in celebration of our two-year anniversary (5/23/15) starting May 24 we will be donating an aggregate of at least $0.50 per transaction on a quarterly basis to the three non-profits mentioned below.
