A recent dive into documents provided by San Juan County has revealed that members of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA), an environmental group with a radical wilderness agenda, and the Rural Utah Project (RUP), an organization dedicated to turning red counties blue, have worked together to manipulate the politics of San Juan County through an underhanded coup of county government. Evidence also shows questionable ties that Federal Judge Robert Shelby, Steven Boos, and others have with members of SUWA and the Wyss Foundation. …

Veteran’s day reminds us of all those that have served in the military and all those that have given their all. I know for me, I think of my ancestors that served in different wars, and family members that have and are fighting now. I think about my friends that I served with and met over the years especially those that have died. I think of those that returned home only to suffer from the demons of war. I also think about the eternal principles of liberty, freedom, and agency that the US Constitution was based on…

A lack of a true understanding concerning freedom is plaguing our world today and is present in both the secular as well as the religious communities. This plague is sweeping across the entire global, elevating governments to the statues of omnipotent gods and reducing individuals to nothing more than mere pawns on a chess board to be moved and used in whatever manner their overlords see fit.

The evidence of this plague is obvious; economic stagnation, moral decay, increasing feelings of resentment towards fellow countryman, a sense of entitlement and desire to get something for nothing are all feelings and…

“With a per capita income of $17,500, San Juan is the poorest county in the state, but its residents already pay 0.84% of a property’s assessed fair market value in taxes, the state’s highest rate.”

Even with the highest property tax rate in the state, last December the county held a truth in taxation hearing to increase the property…
