Pi Day Celebration!

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. Are you a student housing property that would like to celebrate, or even just someone who loves pie?! Well we have some great ideas to make sure your Pi Party is the best one yet!

Make pies in every flavor!

It’s a pie party, of course you want every flavor of pie! Make sure you get creative and offer even the weird pie flavors. Offer different flavors of ice cream to top off people’s pies. Peanuts, sprinkles, and whipped cream are also great toppings. Who doesn’t want a sugar rush on Pi Day? And don’t forget, pie doesn’t have to be sweet! Grab a few types of Pizza for your more savory-loving residents!

Bake pies in jars to give as party favors.

We all want some pie to take home as well! Bake mini pies in jars for all party guests to grab on their way out of the door. This will be sure to remind them of the great time they had while they are enjoying their pie once the party is over. Or you can even deliver full pizza boxes to your residents front doors while they are at home studying! I know I would appreciate a free pizza hand-delivered to me!

Pi Day Activities

Play Pi Day games such as hosting a contest for whoever can recite the most numbers of Pi. Reward the winner with Pie, of course! You could also make a special birthday pie for Albert Einstein, whose birthday happens to be March 14. To get a little crafty, you could even have the party guests make Pi Day bracelets!
