Bell Pepper Plant — Week Six
This week we had a big move!! I had to transplant one of the plants into another pot because of how big they got. I am so happy it went well since it was my first plant transplanting!
Day 36: Light @ 7:19am, water @ 10:11am. Moved the tall plant over to another pot. The tall plant is however looking a little wilty? I put a chopstick in the dirt & used a tiny rope to lightly tie it so that it can still stay upright while getting some of the grow light because I finally found the old grow light in the garage!
Day 37: Light @ 9:31am, water @ 9:32am. So when I transplanted the Bell Pepper Plant, I put it deeper in the soil so that it can be stronger & have a deeper support & root system, yet it is still a little wilty? Maybe the plant just needs a little extra water?
Day 38: Light @ 10:40am, water @ 10:42am. The plants are looking okay with the move still, so hopefully that means they actually are. AKA no more wilted plant! Super vibrant, happy, & strong!!
Day 39: Light @ 10:53am, water @ 10:54am.
Day 40: Light @ 9:40am, water @ 9:41am
Day 41: Light @ 6:12am, water @ 7:28am. So far the plants are still looking good, I think this means it was a successful transplant!
Day 42: Light @ 7:23am, water @ 7:25am
In conclusion, it looks like I have a new skill! This will be great when I start the giant pumpkin seeds & I can’t wait to see how the Bell Pepper Plants change next week!
