ALL LIVES MATTER WHEN YOU Piggyback!

Who Benefits From The New All Lives Matter Movement?

I hope this finds you well, but all lives matter! Black lives are merely the latter of animate life which continues to expose inequalities within our social system. The Black Lives Matter movement illuminates upon racial disparities inherited in our nation’s criminal justice system. So you bite the hand that feeds you…Retrospectively, Blacks aka African Americans have influenced policy changes through extremists protest. In return, these actions have granted all men equality & independence concentrated on the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness.

Wait let’s reflect, Who Benefited From Affirmative Action? Contrary to popular belief, African Americans are not the sole, or even the primary, beneficiaries of affirmative action. According to the United States Labor Department, the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action are white women. The Department of Labor estimated that 6 million women workers are in higher occupational classifications today than they would have been without affirmative action policies.

Shall we dwell into those who have benefited from the Civil Rights Movement? I know you love that Pad Thai & Aloo Gobi….

In parallel, we as a society have engineered a system fixated on derailing any positive Black or African American stereotype while embracing entirely on destructive stereotypes. The derailment is set into motion with a single remark such as, “Black people are loud.” Has it come to you these loud overbearing individuals are the same revolutionaries that have leveraged those loud traits to fight for equal rights for everyone? By the way, you are just as loud “yeehaw.”

So you piggyback? Yes, you piggyback off the blood sweat and tears of black lives who have invested to ensure equality is granted for all. You shame those who have been desecrated by a system designed to overlook chronological patterns of oppression; you find any excuse to segregate yourself from Blacks. That one individual who you judge or refrain from associating with may be the same person who will influence a social policy change i.e. Sandra Bland or Trayvon Martin. Those who piggyback are the same individuals who condemn those affiliated with the Black Lives movement; The Asian, The Hispanic, The Pacific Islander, The Middle Eastern, The Black and The Women who all benefit but do nothing to influence change.

This excerpt is not designed to be pro-black; this is written to acknowledge those who have created change for all mankind.
