Beyond the structural obscurities defined by classism, society is integrally invested in a new social construct i.e. institutionalize segregation labeled as higher education.

Egoism in reference to one’s “alma mater” is a determinant snag abating the extension of classism; thus, those who pride themselves on their alma mater can figuratively exclude those outside their social circle. The exclusive ramifications can increase discrimination and segregation; similar ideals are put into play with teacher to peer interaction.
