My name is Olumide Abudu, I am a budding Economist and Business Analyst currently doing the compulsory one year service in Edo state.

To talk about my love for books I have to give credit to my older sister who is really my inspiration for reading. She got me into the world of books when we were much younger.

She used to sneak off into the toilet to read novels all the time. I became so desperate to discover the fascination behind these books that I started stealing them and then I fell in love with books.

Since then there has been no turning back and only football excites me more than books.

I started reading romance books because that was all I could steal, then I got into John Grisham’s legal books, Ted Dekker and Dan Brown. Eventually, I discovered fantasy books and that was how I found my best genre of books . Brandon Sanderson’s mistborn series was the first and since then I haven’t been able to get enough of them.

Give me a novel with magic or swords, an ancient evil spirit who needs to be slain, a political fight for the throne in an ancient or futuristic civilization or just anything someone thought and created based on an epic adventure and I am down.

I will still read anything else as long as its interesting because no knowledge is wasted but I’m a fantasy man through and through.
