Great article. I think you are spot on with the short term in mind. I feel that long term this approach isn't giving our students survival tactics, rather survival equipment. Equipment needs to be switched out but a mindset is forever.

Here is my perspective as I have been writing that “It’s not about the Device” for a few years now and still hold to the saying.
