I Defined My Genre Because I Did Not Believed Myself

I think many of you have thoughts about writing a book.

There are many genres that we can write.

I was never a fan of motivational books, I never knew about the history and I didn’t believe that I could create a big story.

So.. I made up my own genre.. Shitalking!

I didn’t know it when I started and I didn’t believe it would be good to publish somewhere, so I wrote it for my friends, but mainly I started!

My inspiration was our experiences or random notes I was keeping my whole life.

I tried to play with the readers. I made them rotate the book upside down or put blank pages there because… because why not. 😄

Have a great book was not my biggest motivation. It was good time for readers and that would make the book great.

And judging by their reaction… It worked by some miracle.🖤

Give Readers Emotions

The book has many aspects.

First, each chapter is a different little story, but many of them are connected, and the whole book is full of little jokes and references, which will reward the reader for reading it all.

Some are not easy to find on first read, but I guess it will reward someone even more after reading it again.

Btw, chapters are called episodes. Why? For same reason I’m writing VIIII and not IV …for no reason.

Because that secrets, I didn’t want to make it long. I wanted people to discover the book, enjoy the words, and be excited about what they were going to read next.

I can’t show you the book because it’s in my native language, but I can show you this example.

What I’m talking about here is how the first thing in any set of something can tell you more than everything else in it. So I gave readers a chance to feel it too.

It says “Smile”. And that, my dear readers, is the emotion I wanted to give with this book. I want to make people smile. That was my primary aspect of this and

all creative works should give people emotions.

Community Work

Another emotion I wanted to give was to feel special. I even made table to see, how many references are there for some readers I know will see it.

I drew inspiration from their words to write more.

We should all take inspiration from our surroundings and redirect it to somewhere else.

I even asked them to illustrate something. And some pictures are just amazing!

I think we all want to create things. Maybe we just need space for that.

Just Start With Anything

I don’t wanna say I made something special. I really had just fun creating this.

I mean it doesn’t matter how good you are at something. You can always make something great.

If you are now thinking about writing a book. Start writing and in time you’ll see if it’s good enough. If not,

you’ll find out what you did wrong and next time it will be better.

We all have to try a lot before we know what to do. But if you get more people involved, it’s usually at least more fun.
