Murray’s Corollary to Occam’s Razor

Occam’s Razor reads:

Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.

My corollary:

Among competing hypotheses, the one that is the most mundane should be selected.

You could substitute “most mundane” for “dullest” or “most boring” if you prefer.
