Head, Heart, Gut
Why do we make bad decisions? We just want to keep things simple right? How do we always manage to make things so damn complicated?
There are three forces at work in all decision making; head, heart, and gut.
Your head can rationalize anything. Your heart is full of passion. Your gut is intuitive.
The trick to better decision making is trusting your gut, and not confusing it with your heart. The heart and gut operate in similar ways, winning you over with feeling rather than rational thought. Your heart is advising you from a place of pure unbridled emotion. It’s powerful. Don’t ignore it.
Trust your gut though. Your gut knows the difference between what is right and what is wrong. It knows good from bad. Your gut is the intuitive voice that doesn’t rationalize and isn’t clouded by emotions.
Let your brain do it’s job. Allow your heart to feel. Trust your gut.
Good luck.
