I see your point, but arguing from a general standpoint for all races when he has not experienced exactly what it is like to be oppressed as a member of another race is, while not asking for too much, but will definitely serve to reduce the credibility of his argument. He is talking about his experience of oppression as a black man and his views of what that is like, as a black man. Maybe hence the pro-blackness. But that does not diminish in any way the fact that he supports equality for all races. I think he’s just tackling the area he knows best. Racism is a bigger problem than one man. There’s enough space for everyone to express their views which is actually what is necessary
