The life and times of myself

I have been writing for some two years but seldom do I write for myself. have a diary full of raw material to work on but, being a chef in a five star hotel just doesn’t give me time to rework those. So, here I am, trying to find some readers for a modest storyteller or as I like to call myself and I am sure my friends would agree with the term, The Raconteur(I sure like the sound of that).

So a little introduction about myself.

Name is Shubhansh, or Guptaji, but never Gupta. I find it as an insult if you are calling me Gupta(unless you are a mentor, then its fine). Born October 23rd. From a little town in central India called Jabalpur. A hotel management graduate and a chef at Crowne Plaza, Ahmedabad.

I am an addict of quality company and conversations. Which means that I hate small talk and people who indulge in small talk. I am a mildly decent guitar player(over estimating myself there). I can sing(if you are deaf). I write, not on topics or any particular genre. But I just love to let my thoughts be jotted down by myself as I go.

This is my debut on Medium and I want to tell you all that I will be contributing a lot of content from my diary that I very secretly maintain(not a secret anymore).

I have probably gone through everything that any average young adult has gone through. But my take on my experiences will make you want to know me more, and by the time I am a little less noob on medium you would probably know about me as much as anyone close to me does.

Currently, sitting at my apartment, half naked, tired from all the shitting i have been doing all morning for which I had to take a day off, I am writing this to resume what was once a very indulging and calming hobby for me. In the words of Albus Percival Vulfric Brian Dumbledor, ‘Words are the most powerful form of magic in this world.’ So, I will begin indulging in words again to tell you stories, both of my life and from my brain that made me understand life a little better.

Shall we begin?
