I would like to see my writing as ivy creeping up a monument. The basic structures and elements of my preferred writing genres as wholes can be seen in my text, and in my earlier works. But as I continue to improve, I’d like to think that I grow further and further from both my origins and the monument’s base, changing how I look at the both.
