Panaloop: We Launched; Now What?
I have been looking forward to launch the Beta Version of Panaloop, It seemed so hard to reach that specific goal since Panaloop is self-Funded.
We’re a very small team of 4 People. Yet; I am the only technical one. Designer and Developer. It seemed impossible at first but we made it.
And so we launched; things got more out of reach. No funds at all to move forward, we risked everything we have to reach where we’re today.
I’d like to share with you few things that I learned along the way before and after the Beta Release:
I thought about crowdfunding but I already passed that, never reached the funding goal:
-First one was a failure: $100+ funded = Reasons of failure: No network.
-Second one was better than we expected: $20k+ and get us to get more funds privately but we never reached the funding goal.
Reason for this success: A bigger network and a good introduction video.
-Third one was a laugh: $10 funded = Reason of failure: A very bad introduction video and no network at all.
It’s been a very long journey with Panaloop: Around 5–6 years now; Even after all the struggle that we went through it seems like there’s a bit of a bright-side that things might change for the better.
Maybe now we have a better chance of getting funded: since we’re not a prototype anymore: We’re in the final version and the only thing left is to fix the bugs and develop the apps. If however it didn’t work; well I am already ahead of my failure phase; I already started learning Swift(iOS).
If however: we succeeded then I am already in the loop to help in the process of development.
The question remains: Now what?
I keep running circles, I don’t know what I should do next then it hit me.
Crowdfunding doesn’t really work with software innovations they’re more into products that they can feel; So I added the list bellow:

- Motivational Series based on True events to inspire the youth. (Early delivery)
- The TV SHOW: All Major events within Panaloop and the personal development. (Early delivery)
- Exclusive Access to Panaloop (Only through our crowdfunding campaign)
I have been preparing for this for quite sometime now around 3 months and we still trying to get everything in place.
I can tell you this:
It’s not easy. It won’t be easy but it’s worth it. Will make it.
