GoFundMe Isn’t Just A Hub For Millennial Entitlement

Kayla Newman should share her story with the original founders of McDonald’s or the guy who invented intermittent windshield wipers. They’d think her story is adorable. These guys had their whole livelihoods stolen and turned into multi-billion dollar business for/by somebody else.

Kayla is a snowflake in that she doesn’t recognize that the world actually isn’t fair and doesn’t have to be. Yearning for karmic justice is great but it rarely translates into the real world.

That said, I’m agreed on the use of GoFundMe. I think it’s a great tool to help with crisis situations.
