Oddly enough, if you ask many Filipinos what they think of Duterte, their responses aren’t as negative as you would think.

He might be batsh*t crazy but many think he has the right intent and is actually getting reasonable results.

If Trump can somehow bring back jobs in the next 4 years, if local economies see an improvement during his term (whether or not it’s by his doing), or if he actually figures out a healthcare solution that satisfies both caregivers and patients, then I think we may see a lot of people willing to overlook a lot of other not so great things.

That said, I do agree with your take on Trump’s ability to actually get anything done. Like most campaign promises, his platform changes are much easier said than done.
