I used Handy for two window curtain/rod installations, and even from the customer end, your analysis seems really accurate. It felt fun to sign up and go through the app’s process for requesting help, but using it to interact with the workers was difficult and impersonal. I wish I had asked for the first worker’s real contact information so that I could have hired him back Handy-free for the second installation. Thanks for the write-up!
