A Short Shutdown

Well. In the end, ultimately, issues resolve themselves. As you may have seen, my youngest sister died abruptly a couple of weeks ago. Work is so demanding, and I am so consistently poor about setting work-life boundaries, that I’ve yet to laid quiet about her, an extremely complicated person and relationship. Good on you to set extraneous obligations aside. And how fortunate you are to have a partner who supports you in doing so.

Here’s to hoping that you and David Montgomery have a quiet moment to sit back, put your feet up, and raise a toast of sorts to a life well-lived.

My God, what you all have been through lately.

Cheers to you all. Life goes on. Like it or not.
