Years ago, Jack Herlocker, we had an emergency weather radio powered by a dynamo. The problem was, the constant rhoomrhoomrhoom was so loud that we couldn’t tell if the thing was tuned in to anything, let alone hear it. I think we got it for free somehow, so it didn’t phase me to pitch it aggressively in the trash. During a power outage during a winter blizzard.
