Don’t die with your Dreams still inside you
Everyone has a dream. Some people want fortune, some want the fame, and some want it all. No matter who you are, we all have something burning within us that we desire to do or that we want to have. The unfortunate reality however, is that not many people make the decision to pursue their dreams, and instead settle for less. The renowned motivational speaker Les Brown, said “When you’re not pursuing your goal, you are literally committing spiritual suicide.”
You see, we’ve all been given something special. Every human has something within them that they are naturally good at. Some people were born genetically blessed with a great voice and aim to become singers, others were born with a great ability to draw, and become artists. Regardless of what your talent, skill or ability is, you came into the Universe with a specific gift, which is the gift that you were destined to use to inspire and create with it.
So, why is it that so many people refuse to follow their dreams and instead settle for a life of mediocrity? A prime contributor to this is the fact that many people are often told they’re crazy for dreaming…that what they’re dreaming, is impossible and can never happen. When that happens, the majority of people listen to their inner voice that tells them, they probably can’t do it, and that they shouldn’t bother with it. Please do me a favor…the next time you hear that voice inside of your head telling you that you’re not good enough, or that you can’t, SILENCE IT IMMEDIATELY.
That voice is the voice robbing you of a better life. A life that can bring the joy and happiness you desire, from doing what you love. The fact of the matter is, we don’t know when our number is going to be called. Don’t let your dreams die still being inside of you.
